MED-Rheumatology: Research/Laboratory Assistant

The lab of Dr. Richard Pope is looking for a research/laboratory assistant to help perform data analysis of our ongoing projects, approximately 4-8 hours per week. This job will mainly focus on computer analysis. Therefore, skill and proficiency in computer programs and software is required, such as (but not limited) Excel and Prism. Knowledge and familiarity with statistical R Programming is preferred. Students in a wide range of majors are welcome to apply and those with a desire to pursue bioinformatics in their future career development is a plus. We are located on the Chicago campus, but there is potential for work eventually to be done remotely. Time and hours are flexible but must be prearranged. 


Must be an NU undergraduate student with a Federal Work-Study allotment for the 2017-18 academic year.

PAY RATE: $11.00/hr
