MED-Rheumatology: Laboratory Aide

We are looking for somebody to help maintain the lab and to do small experiments for 4-8 hours per week. Time and hours are flexible but must be prearranged. We are located at the Chicago campus and we are offering partial compensation for travel-time between the Evanston and Chicago campus. Particularly, we are looking for somebody to prepare buffers, aliquot reagents, clean and sterilize scientific glassware, organize and clean labspace, prepare and organize lab supplies, etc. In addition we will teach students to extract DNA, perform polymerase chain reactions (PCR) and run agarose gels for genotyping purposes. Responsibilities can be expanded dependent on the abilities and dedication of the work-study employee.


Must be an NU undergraduate student with a Federal Work-Study allotment for the 2017-18 academic year.

PAY RATE: $11.00/hr
