Research Aide for project examining the venture capital industry and start-ups at Kellogg School of Management, Management & Organizations department. Ideal for students interested in gaining knowledge of the venture capital industry, start-ups, public companies, as well as governance of start-ups and Fortune 500 firms.

Duties include: Collecting data on venture capital firms, individual investors, and CEOs. The student will work based on established methodology and be advised along the way. Work does not require presence on campus, thus requiring self-discipline and dependability.

This is a great opportunity for NU students to acquire a solid understanding of the business world, including venture capital, private firms, and large public firms; further students develop an in-depth understanding of financial and business language. Potential to continue during the 2020-2021 school year.  


Must be an NU undergraduate student with a Federal Work-Study allotment for the 2019-20 academic year.

Word, Excel.  An average of 10 hours/week are required.  

PAY RATE: $13.00/hr
