JOB DESCRIPTION:

Available Fall 2019

Technology Support Services has multiple positions available for customer service consultants with a desire to learn how to troubleshoot and triage questions about computing, networking, and web-based services. Consultants work in a collaborative environment in the Northwestern IT Support Center and develop technical acumen through trainings and working.

Consultants have work schedules that accommodate their class schedules, are eligible for raises twice a year, engage in training to foster and develop technical and interpersonal skills, and have multiple advancement opportunities towards roles requiring heightened responsibility and offering increased pay.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be an NU undergraduate student with a Federal Work-Study allotment for the 2019-20 academic year.

Strong interpersonal skills as well as a genuine desire to learn about troubleshooting a wide range of computer issues. Commitment and dependability are essential. Previous technical knowledge and proficiency is a plus. Weekly training on customer service and technical support is provided.

PAY RATE: $13.00/hr
