Employees will be tasked with using more complex computer systems and library software. Process, catalog, and analyze information using computer software as it relates to library organization. This role will experience greater interpersonal communications with all library staff, patrons, and university employees. Responsibility for project completion and handling emergencies with care and confidentiality.

Requires advanced or unique skills such as language, technology, and subject matter expertise. Increased interpersonal communications with all library staff, patrons, and university employees. Responsibilities and duties may include opening and closing procedures; simple data entry; interpretation of library computer information; typing; some decision making and problem-solving; enforcing user policies and regulations; and being responsible for the operation of a high use/high demand collection in absence of staff.

Desirable Qualifications: Previous clerical or library experience preferred; good interpersonal skills necessary; must be very reliable, punctual, conscientious, and personable.
