JOB DESCRIPTION:

Available Fall 2017

Help construct electronic devices for teaching laboratories. Help compose Arduino code (in C and C++) to interface electronics with lab computers. Help maintain electronic devices in teaching laboratories. Help organize apparatus and parts storage spaces. Help keep our work area organized and useful. This position will work closely with an experienced mentor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be an NU undergraduate student with a Federal Work-Study allotment for the 2017-18 academic year.

Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering major preferred. Willingness to learn soldering, multimeter usage, oscilloscope usage, function generator usage, etc. Willingness to perform mundane tasks that, regardless, must be done.  

PAY RATE: $12.00/hr
