Duties may include washing or sterilizing lab equipment and instruments; defrosting and cleaning freezers and refrigerators; wiping down lab areas; and sorting and storing lab equipment.

Responsibilities may include preparing specimens, solutions, reagents, and buffers; set up lab equipment for specified experiments; and assisting in stocking and ordering of supplies.

Duties may include determining basic components and characteristics of experimental samples; staining, titrating, or filtering, recording test data in a form usable for the investigation; and performing data entry or other computer tasks.

Desirable Qualifications: Minimum one year of relevant coursework with lab experience and one year work experience in laboratory setting required, two years preferred; in some instances, departmental coursework may be required; computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities may include performing tasks which use specialized lab equipment; assisting in data interpretation and analysis; preparing graphs and charts of publishable quality; and performing extensive computer work.

Desirable Qualifications: Junior or Senior; department major preferred; two years relevant coursework required; two years laboratory experience required, at least one year within same department; ability to work with little supervision.
